Mario, decked out to go hitting Tee's. As usual, the model is from Mario Golf Super Rush, but for smash renders, I always want them a little "Higher Quality" then usual. Sometimes I don't sometimes I do.

Mario, in this case, got a makeover in his model, super high poly. I also paid extra attention to materials and normals, though feel like I could of made the shirt turn out better. Also, ever since graduating, I learned how to take advantage of Cat Rigs and other IK's even more. So I made sure to rig every character I render now to a Cat Rig, or a custom IK rig.

Mario is so iconic, I wanted to do something unique for Smash Brothers. So many other fan renders (some I also did myself in the past) was already out there and being used. I didn't want to copy, or step on anyone's toes, so I came up with this render. Half Jump, half Excited running. Its more like a victory jump after getting a hole in one, no?
